Bu araştırmada ilköğretim okullarında görev ya-pan öğretmenlerin teftiş sürecinde etik ile ilgili görüşlerini belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Tokat merkezindeki ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan öğretmenler, örneklemini ise bu evren içerisinden gönüllülük esasıyla seçilen öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma tarama yöntemine göre desenlenmiş ve verilerin toplanmasında araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan beşli likert tipi " Teftiş Sürecinde Etiğe İlişkin Öğretmen Görüşleri " anket formu kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler frekans, yüzde, aritmetik ortalama tek-nikleri kullanılarak çözümlenmiştir. Ortalamaların yorumlanması sonucunda öğretmenlerin, rehberlik ve tef-tiş sürecinde etik ilkelere uyma konusunda genel olarak müfettişlerin yetersiz oldukları, buna karşılık öğret-menlerin etik'e ilişkin ilkelerin belirlenmesi konusunda da olumlu bir bakış açısına sahip oldukları görülmek-tedir.
